The Actor
Celebrating over 40 years in the business. Performing the last 20 years On and Off Broadway in New York City. He has had several lead roles ranging from Malcolm X in "The Meeting" to "Othello". He has worked with such established companies as New York's Nicu Spoons Theater in "No Niggers, No Jews, No Dogs" and New Perspective Theater in Anton Checov's "The Cherry Tree". He has performed at Brooklyn's famed Billie Holiday Theater in Jackie Alexander's "The Legend of Buster Neal" which was nominated for an Audelco Award for best Ensemble and performed main stage at The National Black Theater Festival. Locally he has appeared in such shows as AthensWest To Kill a Mockingbird , Superior Donuts and Fences as well as BCTC's "All the way" and "Sweat". He has been seen in Antagonist Players "I Come From". Also in Message Theater's production of "Twelve Angry Jurors' and now "American Son".
He has had several principal full feature film roles including Staples in Cubecity's "Dear J" , "Laser Us" (The Legend of Jimi Laser) and Easterly productions "Relict" and the soon to be released "Devil's Hollow". Also seen on WTBN in the series "Smoketown" As a stand up comedian he has worked with Sinbad and Jamie Foxx.
One of the Founding members of Message Theater (one of Lexington Kentucky's African American Theater companies) and an award winning photographer with several projects including "I Was Here" and "We...meaning black men".
